Bonnie Florence Mcmath

Bonnie Florence McMath, 75, passed away on May 21, 2016 in Estancia, New Mexico. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Melrose, New Mexico to the late Cleo and Wyndol (True) Widner. Bonnie was a church pianist, school secretary and bookkeeper at the Estancia Schools for many years. She was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and an Independent Baptist. Bonnie was an avid sports fan and followed her two sons to every sporting event they participated in as the Estancia Bears greatest fan. Later, she followed her grandchildren cheering them on. Bonnie is also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Widner, nephews, Kim Widner, Bill Wallace and Wade McMath, sister in law Bonnie Harris, brother in law, Calvin Wallace and sister in law, Louise Widner. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Bobby Lee McMath ; sons and daughters in law, Brian and Sonia McMath of Espanola, NM and Scott and Lisa McMath of Fort Sumner, NM; daughter and son in law, Sandra and Eugene Ness of Moriarty, NM; brother, Dale Widner and sister, Joyce Wallace. Bonnie was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Viewing is scheduled for Monday May 23, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Estancia in Estancia, NM. Pastor Brian McMath, son Scott McMath and son in law Eugene Ness will be Officiating. Pallbearers will be Brady Ness, Steven Ness, Andrew McMath, Luke McMath, David McMath, Benjamin McMath, Skyler McMath, Kyle Keeney and Randy Shull. Burial will be at the Estancia Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico.
