Richard David Jemmott, 71, passed away on May 8, 2016 in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was born on July 26, 1944 in Queens, New York to the late Harold and Ruth A. (Behlert) Jemmott. Richard served as Military Police in the United Stated Army and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, MaryJane Jacobsen; brothers, Robert, Conrad, Clifford and Harold and sisters, Muriel, Cora and Dorothy. Richard is survived by his daughter and son in law, Marguerite and David Raymond of Edgewood, NM; and his son and daughter in law, Craig Jemmott and wife Matti Galaz-Jemmott of Tucson, AZ; brothers Peter Jemmott and Herbert Jemmott; sisters, Ruth Ann Bruccoleri and Marion Drummond; grandchildren, Rachelle Jackson and husband Mitchell, Brittany Raymond and Lydia Raymond; step grandchildren, Paulina Bringas, Enrique Bringas-Galaz and Judith Galaz. Richard loved God, always put family first and continually served others. A Viewing is scheduled for Thursday May 12, 2016 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico. The Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday May 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood, NM. Pastor Philip Spomer to Officiate. Interment will be at the Sandia Memory Garden in Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers are Pete Jemmott, Mitchell Jackson, Michael Pullen, Mike Hoy, David Holmer, Mike Patterson, and Steve Smith. Honorary Pallbearer is Doug Ahrendsen. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made on Richard’s behalf to either the Teen Challenge Men’s Center P.O.
