Margaret Aragon Chavez

Chavez- Margaret Aragon Chavez, 73, a resident of Edgewood, New Mexico peacefully joined our Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Margaret was one of 15 siblings born in Valencia, New Mexico on October 8, 1942 to Pedro and Francisquita Aragon. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Florian Chavez in 2001, and her loving brothers and sisters. Margaret is survived by her sons Florian and his wife, Lori Chavez and Leonard Chavez and his wife Carie. Grandchildren Devin, Andrew, Florian III, and Loriann; four brothers Liberato Aragon and his wife Mela of Peralta, Roosevelt Aragon of Albuquerque, NM, Pedro Aragon Jr. and his wife, Helen of El Cerro, and Celedon Aragon and his wife, Cindy of Corrales. A viewing will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 3674 Highway 74, Peralta, NM 87068. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Aragon, Steven Aragon, James Aragon, Paul Aragon, Devin Chavez, and Florian Chavez III.
