Dorothy Neeley Cole

Dorothy Neeley Cole 76 peacefully passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016. Dorothy was born September 11, 1939 in Round Top Community, N M to Doc and Johnnie Belle Neeley of Round Top Community, N M. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Doc and Johnnie Belle, sister Geneva LaJune Neeley and Brother Johnny Ray Neeley. She is survived by sister Betty Kahalekulu and husband Ben of Denver Co. and Bobby Gene Neeley of Estancia N M and twin sister Barbara Neeley of Mountainair, N M. and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was retired from U S West Telephone and had her Brokers Real Estate License in Co before moving back home to Mountainair. Dorothy was known around town for her involvement in many different functions. She wrote and produced “Diamonds In The Field” , “Songs Of Our Fathers“, was Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce for a few years and was always looking for things that could improve our town. A Celebration of Her Life will be held Sunday March 13, 2016 at 2pm at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, New Mexico.
