Ethel May Simmons

Ethel May Simmons, age 83, passed away on January 29, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Pacoima, California on September 10, 1932 to the late John and Gertrude (Murphy) Wagner. Ethel was a kind soul and will be deeply missed. She is also preceded in death by her Husband, Maxwell Simmons; Daughter, Donna Jean Bowers and Sister, Marian Gieslan. Ethel is survived by her Daughters and Sons in Law, Sherry and Thomas Cardenas of Hobbs, NM and Nancy and Carl Leishman of Albuquerque, NM; Sons and Daughter in Law, Terry and Ayuko Simmons of Tijeras, NM and Kenneth Simmons of Mountainair, NM; Grandchildren, Lisa Grimes, Linda Black, Yamato Simmons, Kodama Simmons, Chad Bowers, Jason Simmons, Chris Simmons, David Simmons, Eric Simmons, Vanessa Simmons, Jacob Simmons and Sean Grace. Ethel was blessed with 21 beautiful Great Grandchildren. A Viewing is scheduled for Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM at 10 A.M. with a Service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers are Carl Leishman, Ken Simmons, Terry Simmons, Davey Simmons, Christopher Simmons and Haral Bowers.
