Meva Caroline Rickers

MEVA CAROLINE RICKERS, 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico died on the evening of July 21, 2015. Born in Eastview, New Mexico on November 10, 1930 to parents Leola Francis and George Samuel Kleiner. Meva was a very hard-worker throughout her entire life. During her lifetime, Meva worked 43 years as an X-Ray Technician and the last 25 years at University of NM Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, watching football and cheating at skipbo with her children and grandchildren. Meva lived most of her life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Meva was preceded in death by her husband Donald Karl Rickers Sr., as well as her sons Donald Karl Rickers, Jr. and David Kleiner Rickers; sister Helen Marie Pond; brother George Samuel Kleiner, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Debra Kay Kelly and her husband Tim; Denise Karen Medina and her husband Jonathon; sons Douglas Kenneth Rickers and his wife Pam and Duane Keith Rickers; Daughter-in-law Mary Rickers; eleven grandchildren, Donald Karl Rickers III, Kassey Lynn Rickers, Holly Marie Jenkins and her husband Kyle; Timothy David Kelly and his wife Jessica, Kristopher Michael Kelly and his wife Erin; Rudy Seth Medina and his wife Tanya; Jonathon Theodore Medina, Nikolus Andrew Medina, Kevin Michael Medina, Kathrine Renea Rickers, Douglas Kenneth Rickers Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren, Travis Lee Jenkins, Alissa Jenkins, Seth Aron Jenkins, Dylan Timothy Kelly, Malia Faith Kelly, Isaac Zane Kelly, Karter Shea Kelly as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in Mountainair at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary on July 25th at 10:00pm. Meva was a very special lady who will be missed by many. Her spirit will continue to live on in those who loved her most.
