Leonor M. Gomez

Leonor M. Gomez, age 80, peacefully passed away on June 4, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 16, 1934 in Tajique, NM. On December 9, 1955 Leonor married her soul mate, John Gomez in Manzano, NM. Leonor was a devout Catholic and member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. She was an extremely kind hearted woman with a smile that was contagious. Her house was always filled with the sound of her precious grandkids and great grandchildren playing, as well as the smell of homemade meals that she was well known for. Leonor will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community. A Rosary is to be recited on Sunday June 7, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. The Celebration of Mass will be on Monday June 8, 2015 at 10:30 AM also at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. Father Moses to Officiate. The Interment will immediately follow at the Estancia Catholic Cemetery in Estancia, NM. The Pallbearers will be Adam Gomez, Joseph Gomez, Paul Gomez Jr., Christopher Gomez, Candido Gomez and Frank Gomez Jr..
