Isabel Padilla

Isabel Padilla, age 88, peacefully passed on May 5, 2015 in Moriarty, New Mexico. She was born in McGaffey, New Mexico on April 15, 1927 to the late Rafael and Refugia (Fuentes) Rodriguez. On November 3, 1949 she married her beloved soul mate, Ralph Padilla. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Isabel was also a member of the Woman’s Cowbells. She is also preceded in death by her Son, Jimmy Padilla and Daughter, Ruth Padilla. Isabella is survived and forever remembered by her Son, Michael Padilla of Albuquerque, NM; Daughter and Son in Law, Claudette and Ben Spence of Moriarty, NM; Brothers, Ralph Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Fabian Rodriguez and Bobby Rodriguez; Sisters, Rachel Fishette, Lupe Ordaz and Amilia Gloria. Isabel was blessed with 8 beautiful grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Mass is planned for Monday May 11, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM. Father Juan Mendez to officiate.
