Carol Ann Ring

Carol Ann Ring, age 73, peacefully passed away on April 30, 2015 at her home in Edgewood, New Mexico. She was born in Granite City, Illinois on June 17, 1941 to the late Leonard and Dorothy (Cease) Buzick. She married the love of her life and Soul Mate Charles E. Ring on November 18, 1961. Carol was a member of the Valley View Christian Church and loved participating in various church activities. She worked tirelessly to help others and her smile could light up a room. Carol never knew a stranger, instead she always made a friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Carol is also preceded in death by her Step Mother, Mary Buzick; Brother, Leonard Carl Buzick and Sister, Janet Raymond. She is survived and forever remembered by her beloved Husband Charles E. Ring; Son and Daughter in Law, Jeff and Rayleen Ring; Daughter and Son in Law, Kim and Michael Velarde; Brothers and Sisters in Law, David and Belva Stearns, Larry and Monica Buzick, Lynn and Kandy Buzick, Randy and Sandy Buzick, Ralph and Kandy Buzick and Kenneth Buzick; Sisters and Brothers in Law, Mary Ann Wall, Shirley and Donald Mitchelar, Glenda and Rodney Rensing and Julie and Scott Lafuria. Carol also was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren, Brandon Velarde, Brett Velarde and Fiancé Rebecca, Brooklyn Velarde, Brittany Velarde and Shy Joe as well as one great grandchild, Damian Velarde. A Memorial Service is scheduled for May 4, 2015 at the Valley View Church in Edgewood, New Mexico at 1:30 P.M. with Brandon Shaffer to Officiate. In lieu of flowers the family graciously requests that donations be made to the Valley View Christian Church's 911 Food Closet/Weekend Backpack Program.
