Clorinda Martinez

Clorinda Martinez, age 89, of Grants, New Mexico, entered Heavens Gates on March 28, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on July 20, 1925 to the late Julian and Teresa (Blea) Lopez. Clorinda married Elfigo Martinez on November 27, 1942. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2000. Clorinda is also preceded in death by her Daughter, Beatrice Rivas; Son, Robert Martinez; Grandaughter, Tina Saavedra and Grandson, Joey Rivas. Clorinda is survived and forever remembered by her Sons and Daughter in Law, Benito Martinez of Moriarty, NM, and Elfigo Jr. and Georgia; Daughters and Sons in Law, Barbara and Virgil (Guttirez) Saavedra of Moriarty, NM, Evelyn and Albert Carrasco of San Jose, CA, Victoria and Jimmy Garcia of Sandia Park, NM, Dorothy and Frito Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM, Yvonne and David Gonzales of Moriarty, NM and Sister, Mary Garcia of Bernalillo, NM. Clorinda was blessed with 22 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Monday April 6, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Celebration of Mass will be on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. also at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Mateo Martinez, Zachry Marquez, Dominic Gallegos, Christopher Gallegos, David Padilla and Ryan Martinez.
