Johnny (John) Lynn Bocock, 63 years young, of Edgewood, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on Friday March 6, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on April 21, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico, to the late Barney and Lavena (Carlisle) Bocock. On May 22, 1971 he married the love of his life and soulmate, Loyce Faye Brown. John was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edgewood. He was an extremely hard worker and had a heart of gold. He owned and operated Edgewood Video and Radio Shack for 29 years until he retired. After retirement, as a hobby, his love for technology and computers inspired him to open a computer repair shop in Edgewood, NM.
He is survived and forever remembered by his beloved wife of 44 years, Loyce; their two sons and daughters in law, Jeremy and Kristi Bocock of Edgewood, NM and David and Julie Bocock of Glendora, CA; also by his sister Linda Bocock. John was blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren, Hayden Bocock, Tesslynn Bocock and Hudson Bocock. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on March 13th at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood in Edgewood, NM. Burial and graveside service to immediately follow at the Mountainview Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. A public viewing will be held on Thursday March 12,2015 from 4-6 P.M. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico.
