Louella Elizabeth Meadows

Louella Elizabeth Meadows, age 71 of Mountainair, New Mexico, peacefully passed away February 8, 2015. She was born March 27, 1943 in Cedarvale, New Mexico, a daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Marable) Lackey. Louella was gracious and kind, frequently thinking of others and their needs first. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Corona. Louella met the love of her life, Bobby Meadows and they were wed on April 21, 1961 in Corona, NM. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and community. Louella is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived and forever remembered by her Husband, Bobby; Son and Daughter in Law, Hank and Barbara Meadows of Clovis, New Mexico; Daughter, Nancy Meadows of Clovis New Mexico; and Brothers, Wilfred Lackey of Loardsburg, New Mexico and Wilburn Lackey of Plainview, Texas. A funeral service is planned for Thursday February 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Corona in Corona, New Mexico. Pastor Cal West and Pastor Tony Reynolds to officiate. Pallbearers will be Bennie Paschall, Danny Lueras, Wendel Wells, Carl Borders, Clay Burton and John Sisk. Harris-Hanlon Mortuary will direct the arrangements.
