Anthony Otero

Anthony “Tony” Otero, 60 years young, born on January 17, 1955 peacefully passed away on February 7, 2015. Born and raised in New Mexico, the Son of Trancito Otero and Margie Barela, he was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque. Tony was a devoted Catholic and attended the San Jose Catholic Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his Father, as well as his brother, Donald Otero. He is survived and forever remembered by his Mother, Margie Barela of Estancia, NM; Daughter and Son in Law, Antionete and Matt Otero-Whittaker of Albuquerque, NM; Brothers and Sisters in Law, Fred and Rufina Otero of Monzano, NM and Ron and JoAnn Otero of Estancia, NM; Sisters and Brothers in Law, Yvonne and Manuel Solis of Estancia, NM, Tina and Bruce Davis of Jacksonville, FL as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. followed by the celebration of Mass at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday February 14, 2015 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tajique, NM. Father Lancaster will be officiating.
