Thelma Mae Berryman

Thelma Mae Berryman, 91, of Mountainair, New Mexico peacefully passed away on December 29, 2014, after spending a joyous Christmas with her family. Thelma was born on May 25, 1923 to I.G. and Lillie Mae (Autrey) McKinley in Mountainair, New Mexico, where she would later become a lifetime resident. Being of strong Christian Faith, she was a member of the Nazarene Church of Mountainair and also attended the First Baptist Church of Mountainair. Thelma regularly volunteered at both the Veterans Center and the Chamber of Commerce in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Thelma was known for her cheerful spirit, boundless optimism as well as her kind and gentle nature. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; Husband William Berryman; Brother Bud Watts and Sisters Oleta Tvedt and Audie Mae Brown. She is survived by Sister; Inez Baker of Mountainair, NM, Son; David Berryman and wife Jennifer of Sandia Park, New Mexico. Thelma was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Ryan and Dylan Berryman. Memorial Services are to be held Friday January 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mountainair in Mountainair, New Mexico. Brother Tony Reynolds to officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Berryman, Dylan Berryman, Gary Lee Watts, Orville Watts, Andrew McKinley, Jim Riebsomer, Jack Baker and Delbert Autrey.
