Ester Bell Thomas

Ester Bell Thomas, 91, of Estancia, New Mexico peacefully passed away in Edgewood, New Mexico on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Ester was born April 20, 1923 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Lloyd and Myrtle (Justus) Bailey. Ester was proceeded in death in 1998 by her husband Estal Johnny Thomas to whom she married on November 9, 1940 in Estancia, New Mexico. Ester is also proceeded in death by her parents, Brothers and Sisters. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her sons Johnny Thomas and wife Helen of Las Vegas, Nevada; and David Thomas and wife Linda of Estancia, New Mexico; six grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren as well as several great-great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Friday November 28, from 2:00-3:00pm with services following at the First Baptist Church of Estancia. Pastor Jonathan Richard will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Cale Thomas; Christian Winfield; Maceo Cortez; Derrell Winn; Danny Prather; and Clay Pope. Burial will be at the Estancia Cemetery in Estancia, New Mexico.
