VIVIAN MARIE COLE, of Edgewood, New Mexico peacefully passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Vivian was born June 29, 1945 in Tuscon, AZ to Gordon Winston and Helen Frances (Sullivan) Geiger. She married her loving husband Rex Alan Cole on December 2, 1966. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2003. Vivian and Rex were blessed with two sons Cameron and Travis. Vivian lived in Edgewood since 1985. Vivian was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM. She was a Godmother to many in the East Mountain area. She taught Catachism classes for many years. She was very active in the Catholic Church and was a Third Order Carmelite. She volunteered with Read, Write, Adult Literacy in Moriarty. Took ESL training and tutored two students over a four year period. Vivian is survived by her sons Travis Cole and Cameron Cole and his wife Lois Cole; granddaughters Rebecca, Amelia, Tammy, Amanda and Samantha; brother Gary Geiger and his wife Eloise of Oak Harbor, WA and their children Jeremy, Casey and Carley. Vivian will be laid to rest on her 48th wedding anniversary. There will be a Rosary recited on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 7:00pm at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10:00am also at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Church. A precession will follow to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grand-daughters Rebecca, Amelia, Tammy, Amanda and Samantha.
