Kody Eugene Fish

KODY EUGENE FISH, 36, of Moriarty, NM passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood. Kody was born on May 31, 1978 in Ruidoso, NM to Russ and Anita Fish. He was the second of three children and spent his first eleven years in Roswell when the family moved to Edgewood. Before moving from Roswell he was involved with 4-H and won many ribbons on his little horse Downer. He loved fishing and hunting with his dad, grandfather and uncles and spent many hours on the family ranch gathering cattle. He also spent a lot of time with his older sister Kalgaree and friends riding the open plains and just enjoying the outdoors. Kody went to School in Moriarty where he played on the football team and was a member of Mustangs 4-H. He later became a cross country truck driver and worked pipeline in the northern part of the country. One of Kody’s hidden talents was his artistry. Survivors include his parents Russ and Anita Fish; sisters, Kalgaree and Kassee Fish of Albuquerque, NM; two nephews, Alec Estrada of Hobbs, NM and Kyle Estrada of Albuquerque, NM; niece Briece Estrada of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Donations and flowers will be accepted at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood.
