John W. Geisler

JOHN W. GEISLER, 94, of Moriarty, NM peacefully passed away in Edgewood, NM on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 with his loving wife of 67 years beside him. John was born September 12, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana to Conrad and Edna (Strong) Geisler. John was a Navy veteran. He was a longtime resident of Moriarty. He married Marjorie Allene Casada on August 9, 1947. John was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Karen Abramson; and granddaughter Madison Allen. He is survived by his wife Marjorie A. Geisler of Moriarty; daughters Cathy Ainsworth and her husband Mike of Spokane, WA and Jo-Jo Szymanski and her husband Joe of Bonney Lake, WA; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing from 9:00am to 10:00am on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The service will follow the viewing at 10:00am with Pastor Dave officiating. Burial will be at the Stanley Cemetery after the service.
