Roscoe Spencer Cook

ROSCOE SPENCER COOK, 87, of Estancia, NM passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Roscoe was born May 1, 1927 in Beeville, TX to Daniel Casper and Nettie (Lumkin) Cook. Roscoe was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Estancia Church of Christ. He married Maybelle Brown on February 10, 1948 in Hatfield, Ark. Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; 4 sisters; and granddaughter Kimberly Cook. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maybelle Cook; sons Larry R. Cook and his wife Leeanna of Estancia, Lynn A. Cook and his wife Carol of Estancia, and Landon R. Cook and his wife Angela of Moriarty; sister Naomi Petross of Conroe, TX; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at the Chruch of Christ, Estancia, NM with Johnny Moore officiating.
