Jade Caitlin Burroughs

JADE CAITLIN BURROUGHS, 23, of Corona, New Mexico passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Jade was born May 6, 1991 in Johnson, Kansas, Stanton County to Kevin E. and Alisha (Yohn) Helmle. She lived in Corona for the past two years having lived in Liberal, Kansas coming from Ulysses, Kansas. Jade was a accomplished equestrian; pianist and lovely singer; expert seamstress; devout Christian woman; beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister; excellent cook; active church member; Sunday school teacher and disciple for Christ. Jade married Dustin Burroughs on June 2, 2013 in Corona, NM. She was preceded in death by her father Kevin E. Helmle. Jade is survived by her husband, Dustin Burroughs and daughter Anna Rose; mother, Alisha Helmle and siblings, Kisa Helmle and Rock Helmle. There will be a viewing at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Corona followed by the service at 2:00pm with Pastor Cal West officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Yohn, Rock Helmle, Raymond Burroughs, David Burroughs, Robert Burroughs, and Joel Burroughs; Wendell Wells as Honorary Pallbearer. A memorial service will be held at Country View Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. CT with burial following at Shockey Cemetery, Ulysses, Kansas, Grant County. In lieu of flowers, the family had requested that donations be made for the Anna Burroughs Education Fund in honor of Jade Burroughs.
