LARRY JAY BROWN, 64, of Truth or Consequences, NM passed away in Albuquerque NM on Friday, September 12, 2014. Larry was born January 10, 1950 in Albuquerque, NM to Lawrence and Elsie (Elick) Brown. Larry was an Army Veteran. He married his loving wife of 44 years, Donita Lynn Fisher, on August 22, 1970 in Albuquerque, NM. Larry lived in T or C for the past three years having previously lived in Moriarty, NM. He was a member of the American Legion in T or C and the Moose Lodge in T or C. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Brown and Elsie Thomas; son Jeremy Brown who passed away in 2007; brother, Bobby Thomas who passed away in 2011; and stepfather James Thomas. He is survived by his wife Donita Brown of Edgewood; son Trampas Brown of Edgewood; daughters Dineke Tarin and her husband Daniel of Edgewood, Trisha Michel and her husband Gerardo of Edgewood and Amanda Brown of Edgewood; brothers Bill Thomas and Junior Brown; sisters Debbie Robinson and Faye Grim; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There will be a Funeral Service at 10:00AM on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Jonathan Ipiotis officiating. Burial will be at 3:00PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Trampas Brown, Daniel Tarin, Gerardo Michel, Allen Michel, Steven Michel and David Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Thomas and Kenny Welker.
