Jeanette L. Self

JEANETTE L. SELF, 72, of Mountainair, NM passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 18, 2014. Jeanette was born August 1, 1942 in Queens Village, NY to William and Lavada (Sealey) Magagnos. She married Robert Self on November 11, 1961 in Flushing, NY. They lived in Mountainair for the past 35 years having previously lived in New York. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents William and Lavada Magagnos and brother Daniel Magagnos. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Robert Self; sons Clayton Self and Daniel Self and his wife Denise; sister Margaret Larson; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on August 20, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church of Mountainair. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00AM following the viewing with Pastor Tony Reynolds. Pallbearers will be Wayne Jones, Gary Fulfer, Richard Spencer, Jim Riebsomer, and Monty Pounds. Burial will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery.
