Leta Marie Burns

LETA MARIE BURNS, 85, of Mountainair, NM passed away at her home on Friday, June 27, 2014. Leta was born June 3, 1929 in Liberty, NM to John and Georgia (Addison) Steele. Leta was a lifetime resident of Mountainair. She was a beauty operator. Leta was preceded in death by her parents John and Georgia Steele; husband Earl Burns; sister Joyce Steele; and brother Wade Steele. She is survived by her son Kenny Burns and his wife Letha of Mountainair; daughter Kathy Burns of Mountainair; grandchildren Steven and Travis Burns; great-grandchildren Briana Burns, Matthew Burns and Chaselyn Hanson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial has taken place.
