Benjamin Esequiel Valdez

BENJAMIN ESEQUIEL VALDEZ, 86, of Estancia, NM passed away at his home on Monday, June 23, 2014. Benjamin was born December 16, 1927 in Toyah, TX to Jose and Josephine (Granillo) Valdez. Benjamin married Barbara Rose Bueche April 21st 1979. He was a USMC Veteran and a member of the VFW, American Legion and NRA. He had lived in Estancia since 1984. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Benjamin Valdez; daughter Gloria Alice Gonzales; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Barbara Valdez of Estancia, NM; sons Gregory Thomas Valdez of Fallbrook, CA; Sebastian Victor Valdez and his wife Nicole of Estancia, NM and Antonio Conrado Valdez of Ada, OK; daughters Carolyn Valdez of Roy, WA and Dianne Valdez of Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. There will be a Private Family Memorial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Veteran Affairs.
