Toby Leroy Romero

TOBY LEROY ROMERO, 51, of Mountainair, NM passed away at his home on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Toby was born March 16, 1963 in Carrizozo, NM to Rufino Ray and Aurelia (Garcia) Romero. Toby was preceded in death by his parents Rufino Ray and Aurelia Romero and nephew LCP Joshua E. Lucero. He is survived by sister; Norma Archuleta and her husband Marky of Mountainair, NM, brothers Ronnie Hickman and his wife Jacqueline of Belen, NM, and Ray Romero and his wife Helen of Artesia, NM, sisters Tina Lucero and her husband Mike of Tuscan, AZ and Roxanne Jones and her husband Ricky of Carlsbad, NM; Ross Romero of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM with Doris Jaquess and Shirley Sweat officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leroy Romero, C.J. Romero, Teddy Lopez, Joseph LEsprance, Miguel Nieto and Carlos Chavez.
