Stella Brasher

STELLA BRASHER, 96, of Moriarty, NM passed away April 12, 2014 in T or C, NM. Stella was born October 11, 1917 in Monticello, NM to Candido and Virginia (Cavasos) Trujillo. She lived in Moriarty since 1987 having previously lived in California. Stella was a member of the VFW. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jessie Lee Brasher Jr. who passed away in 2001; son Tommy Gene Brasher and granddaughter Patricia Brasher. She is survived by her sons Louis L. Brasher of Moriarty, Jesse L. Brasher III of Albuquerque and Michael L. Brasher and his wife Lisa of Denair, CA; brothers Ernesto Trujillo and Greg Trujillo; sister Carrisa Romero; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 17, 2014 followed by a Liturgy Service at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM with Deacon Donald Cupps officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Brasher, David Brasher, Tommy Harrell, BJ Brasher, Bobby Brasher and Victoria Brasher.
