Francisco J. Mauricio Sr.

FRANCISCO J. MAURICIO SR., 60 of Mountainair, NM suddenly passed away in Willard, NM on Friday, April 11, 2014. Francisco was born August 25, 1953 to Alfonso and Adelaida (Salas) Mauricio. Francisco lived in Mountainair, NM for the past 16 years having previously lived in Albuquerque, NM. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He was a very caring and giving man and help in any way that he could. He was a hard worker and loved his job. He was a loving father and friend to many. He will greatly be missed. Francisco was preceded in death by his parents; sister Rosa Mauricio and brother Jose Luis Mauricio. He is survived by his wife Michelle Mauricio of Mountainair; sons Francisco J. Mauricio Jr. and his wife Kristyn of Punta de Auga, Casey Chavez of Albuquerque, Abie Chavez of Belen and Ricardo Mauricio of Mountainair; daughters Natalie Chavez of Mountainair, Xochilt Mauricio of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Mauricio of Mexico, Alma Mauricio of Mexico and Angelica Mauricio; brothers Andres, Alfonso, Jose and Antonio Mauricio; sisters Kenna Mauricio, Lupe Puentes, Maria Mauricio, Katalina Mauricio, Jovita Mauricio and Carmen Mauricio; and 23 grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Wednesday April 16, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 17th at 10:00AM also at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM with Pastor Mark Sena officiating. A reception will follow at the Mountainair Christian Center
