Mary Margaret Hendricks

MARY MARGARET HENDRICKS, 69, a lifetime resident of Tijeras, NM and the Estancia Valley, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born to Chester and Mattie Riley July 16, 1944 and was raised in Ewing on her family farm and ranch. She graduated from Estancia High School, attended Draughns Business School and then worked at Mountain States Mutual Insurance Company for 47 ½ years. She married Sidney Hendricks in 1970. After retiring Mary Margaret relocated to Edgewood NM to be close to Dan, Karen and the grandkids. Mary Margaret is survived by her son Dan, wife Karen, grandson Jerry Ray granddaughters Katlynn Marie, Samantha Joleen and Elaina Rose. Mary is survived by her brothers and sisters Chester Jr, Waylen, Ivan, Helen, Juanita, Kathryn and Letha. She is preceded in death by her husband Sidney, mother and father, brothers George Fred, Jimmy Hollis and Jerry Elmo. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00am at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary. Burial will follow at Estancia Memorial Cemetery followed by a fellowship meal at the Mountainair Christian Center. Pallbearers are Jerry Hendricks, Steven Burns, Travis Burns, Matthew Burns, James Magoffe, and Leland Riley. Honorary Pallbearer Tracey Hiatt.
