Pete Jesus Arguello

ARGUELLO, PETE JESUS, 65, was called home by our Heavenly Father on September 5, 2013. Pete was born December 25, 1947 in Vaughn NM to Chrisosto and Virginia (Padilla) Arguello. Pete loved to work on cars as his hobby; he loved to listen to oldies as he did it. His outgoing personality, willingness to help anyone in need and give advice to others kept him well loved by all he knew. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Chrisosto and Virginia Arguello; son, Anthony Ray Arguello; brother Chrisosto Arguello Jr. and his wife Angie; sisters Lucy Trujillo and her husband Joe and Sally Duran and her husband Paul; nephews Raymond Duran and Michael Lopez; and in-laws Salomon and Rita Pacheco. He is survived by his wife Christine (Pacheco) Arguello of Tyrone, OK; son Martin Arguello and his wife Jaima Arguello; grandchildren Ryen, Reagan and Rennan Arguello; brother Raymond and his wife Cari Arguello of Roswell, NM; sisters Ermalinda of Roswell, NM, Sarah Cordova of Albuquerque, NM and Carmen Escarcega and her husband Octovio of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Rosary recited on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10:00am also at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Moriarty with Rev. Fr. Lancaster officiating. Fr. Jim Dieker will be Co Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Jacob Pacheco, Carlos Arguello, Daniel Arguello, Albert Sanchez, Frankie Lopez and Rubel Otero. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
