BILLY CHARLES EASLEY, 72, of Moriarty, NM peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 with his loving family surrounding him. Bill was born June 1, 1941 in Lovington, NM to William and Opal (Pruit) Easley. Billy was a very kind and gentle man and was loved by everyone who knew him. Billy’s dedication to his family was equaled by no one, his compassion was evident to everyone that knew him, his love was unconditional. He had lived in Moriarty since 1996 having previously lived in Albuquerque. Billy was a devout member of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish. Billy was preceded in death by his parents William and Opal Easley and sister Connie Geary. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen Easley of Moriarty; son Charles Easley of Alamogordo, NM; daughters Kimberly Guynn of Alamogordo, NM, Elizabeth Charley of Golden, CO, Janis Melendrez and her husband Martin of Albuquerque, NM, and Jeryn Coleman and her husband Scott of Ft. Baltimore, MD; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary recited on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Lancaster officiating also at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Zachary Guynn, Martin Melendrez, Mike Norero, Daryl Hart, Troy Hart, Vinny Norero and Anthony Easley.
