Clarence William "Bill" Pohl

CLARENCE WILLIAM “BILL” POHL, 83, of Scholle, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bill was born August 6, 1929 to Clarence A. and Mary Whittaker (Pohl). Bill was a longtime resident of Scholle, New Mexico. He was a rancher, a veteran, and a member of the Manzano Mountain Gun Club. Bill married Lucille Prichard on June 12, 1982 in Mountainair, NM. Together they raised eight sons. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mary Pohl; brothers Larry and Maurice C. Pohl and sons Christopher Wyatt Barham and Robert Lambert. He is survived by his wife Lucille Pohl of Scholle, NM; sons Calvin William Pohl of Albuquerque, Charlie Wayne Barham and his family of Socorro, NM, Carroll Wade Barham of Blue Springs, NM, James E. Lambert and Shawna of Albuquerque, NM, Michael S. Lambert and his wife Victoria of Mountainair, NM, Todd Pohl and Victoria Bustamante of Scholle, NM; sister Elizabeth Smith of WA; seventeen grandchildren and 3 ½ great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 10:00am also at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. Pallbearers will be Carroll W. Barham, James E. Lambert, Michael S. Lambert, Todd Pohl, Frank Hill, Johnny Sanchez, Honorary Pallbearer will be Calvin W. Pohl. Burial will follow the service at Scholle Cemetery in Scholle, NM.
