Gilbert Richard Navarro Rangel Sr.

GILBERT RICHARD NAVARRO RANGEL SR., 81, peacefully passed away at his home in Edgewood, NM on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Gilbert was born June 29, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA to Manuel and Rosie (Nevarez) Rangel. Gilbert had lived in Edgewood for the past 24 years having previously lived in Los Angeles, CA. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton Catholic Church in Edgewood. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sally Rangel who passed away in 2007. He is survived by his sons Gilbert Jr., Ronald, Donald and Kenneth; daughters Lorraine Mesa and Rose Anne Rangel; brother Jerry; sisters Gloria, Arlene, and Stella; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary recited on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 7:00pm at St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton Catholic Church in Edgewood. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00am also at St. Elizabeth Anne Catholic Church in Edgewood with Rev. Fr. Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty.
