Manuel Seferino Moncayo Sr.

MANUEL SEFERINO MONCAYO, SR. 46, of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away at his home on Thursday, June 6, 2013. Manuel was born March 14, 1967 in Alamogordo, NM to Johnny Abraham and Dolores (Beltran) Moncayo. Manuel had lived in Edgewood, NM for the past twenty-five years having previously lived in Albuquerque. He was a member of the NRA and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He coached Little League baseball and middle school football. Manuel was preceded in death by his uncle Freddy Moncayo; grandmothers Esther Moncayo and Elvira Beltran; uncle Oscar Beltran and aunt Mary; and uncles Benjamin Moncayo, Joe Moncayo and Carl Rice. He is survived by his parents Johnny and Dolores Moncayo of Albuquerque; wife Erica Moncayo of Edgewood; son Manuel Seferino Moncayo II of Edgewood; daughters Johnese Moncayo of Las Cruces and Rebekah Moncayo of Edgewood; brothers Johnny Moncayo Jr., Matthew Moncayo and Mark Moncayo all of Las Vegas, NV; sisters Cindy Moncayo of Albuquerque, Tina Fouch of Colorado City, CO, Virginia Moncayo of Albuquerque and Rhonda Moncayo of Albuquerque. There will be a viewing on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Crossroads Bible Fellowship in Edgewood, NM. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Moriarty Civic Center with Pastor Gale Holt officiating. Burial to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico.
