A viewing for Fred Dinkle, 80, Corn resident , will be held 8:00 A.M., till 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 14, 2013 in the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home.
He will be transported to Moriarty, NM where a chapel service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Harris Hanlon Mortuary Chapel. Services will be officiated by his nephew Tim Sandy and burial will conclude in the Barton Cemetery in Edgewood, NM.
Thomas Frederick Dinkle was born on January 20, 1933 to Herman Frederick Dinkle and Etoyle (Jacobs) Dinkle and passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma.
Mr. Dinkle was raised in Edgewood, NM and attended the Stanley School graduating in 1952. He was soon drafted into the U.S. Army and served a two year stint and part of that time was spent in Japan. He was honorably discharged and returned back to the family farm in New Mexico. He helped his father farm and ranch for several years until they retired in the early 1980’s. He came to Corn, Oklahoma in 2006 to be close to family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Juanita Sandy and a sister in law, Coewena Dinkle.
He enjoyed the outdoors and his passion was raising and racing horses.
He is survived by a sister, Wynnonra Childers and husband, Keith, Las Vegas, NV and two brothers, George Dinkle, Albuquerque, NM and Dick Dinkle, Corn, OK.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
