Maria H. Mcpherson

MARIA H. McPHERSON, 96, of Moriarty, New Mexico peacefully passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Maria was born April 28th, 1916 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Kaufmann and Maria Martha (Scholz) Maier. Mrs. McPherson had lived in Moriarty since 1959. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. McPherson was a member of the PTA, Keep New Mexico Beautiful, Read Write Literacy, Eastern Star and Moriarty Chamber of Commerce, and loved playing Lions Bingo. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles McPherson who passed away May 20, 1975; and her brother Gunther Maier Von Plewhe. She is survived by her son Martin McPherson and his wife Kincie of Albuquerque; daughter Virginia Hutchinson and her husband Marc of Vancover, WA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Funeral Services are pending. Burial was held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on December 20, 2012.
