Weldon Mckinley

Weldon McKinley, 82, a longtime resident of central New Mexico, passed away November 20, 2012 at his home south of Belen, NM. Weldon was born March 25, 1930, in Alcalde, NM to Marvin & Lois (Nance) McKinley. He married Margaret Ann Cain on June 22, 1953, in Gran Quivera, NM. Weldon was life long rancher and a member of the Mountainair Christian Center. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, brother Marvin McKinley Jr, and nephew Terry McKinley. Weldon is survived by his wife of 59 years Margaret McKinley of Belen, NM; son Marc McKinley and his wife Donne of Geary, OK; two daughters, Welda McKinley Griter and her husband Jim of Carrizozo, NM and Melinda McKinley of Mountainair, NM; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 24, 2012—10:00 AM at the Mountainair Assembly Of God Church in Mountainair, NM with pastor Doris Jaquess officiating. Burial has taken place at the Mountainair Cemetery.
