Ester Sisneros Lopez

ESTER SISNEROS LOPEZ, 83, of Mountainair, New Mexico peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Ester was born November 26, 1928 in Arroyo Colorado, New Mexico to Filomeno and Mauricia (Serna) Sisneros. Ester was a lifetime resident of Torrance County and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sons, infant Elmo Lopez, infant Guillermo Lopez, Guillarmo Lopez and Juan Lopez. Ester is survived by her sons Manuel Lopez of Arroyo Colorado, NM, Edward Lopez and his wife Kim of Indian Hills, NM and Gerald Lopez and his wife Christina of Arroyo Colorado, NM; daughters Elma Lopez of Thoreau, NM and Juanita Chavez and her husband Paul of Arroyo Colorado, NM; sister Bernis Chavez and her husband Paul of Quarai, NM; twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing at 6:00pm followed by the Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11:00am also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano, NM with Rev. Fr. Millan Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at her ranch near Manzano. Pallbearers will be Ernie Ornelas, Lucas Lopez, Paul Chavez, Martin Chavez, Mathew Chavez and Phillip Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers are all family and friends.
