LEE FRANCIS GRUIS, 70, of Portales, New Mexico passed away in Lubbock, Texas on Friday, November 9, 2012. Lee was born September 23, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to Ervin and Doris (Johantgen) Hoffman. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Doris Hoffman and brother, George Hoffman. She is survived by her son, Richard Gruis of Portales, NM; daughters, Andrea Leann Allen and her husband Gid of Portales, NM and Joann Eileen Rackler and her husband Mike of Portales, NM; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
