Herman Earl Thompson

HERMAN EARL THOMPSON, 93, of Moriarty, New Mexico peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Herman was born October 26, 1919 in Moriarty to William S. and Florence Christine (Williams) Thompson. He was a lifetime resident of Moriarty. He married Bernice Marchant in December of 1940. They had three sons, Richard, Donald and Bobby. Herman was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice. Herman is survived by his sons Richard Thompson of Moriarty, Donald Thompson of Moriarty and Bobby Thompson and his wife Charlene of Moriarty; sisters Bertha Roland of Midland, TX and Alice Collins and her husband Les of Hanford, CA; grandchildren Kym Peters and her husband Dave of Phoenix, AZ Debby Thompson of Moriarty, Tami Owings and her husband Craig of Helisinki, Finland, Jessica Thompson of Moriarty, Bobby Thompson and his wife Patti of Santa Ana, CA; great-grandchildren Matthew Ireland of Phoenix AZ, Janice Ireland of Phoenix, AZ, Justin Williams and his wife Erika of Moriarty, Llissa Williams of Moriarty, Charlee Williams of Moriarty, Chelsea Thompson of Moriarty, Amanda Owings of Helisinki, Finland, Sean Owings of Helisinki, Finland and Haven Thompson of Santa Ana, CA. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:00AM at the Moriarty Cemetery on Martinez Road.
