Carol Elizabeth Mills

CAROL ELIZABETH MILLS, 68, of Moriarty, New Mexico peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Carol was born January 12, 1944 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Charles and Elizabeth (Paseler) Lau. Carol has lived in Moriarty for the past eight years having previously lived in Baltimore, MD. She married Doug Mills and they had a daughter, Jessica. Carol was a member of Sociedad De El Sagrado Corazon De Jesus in Galisteo where she was a church member. She was a past board member of Read Write Literacy Program. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elizabeth Lau; and sister, Barbara McIntosh. She is survived by her husband, Doug Mills of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Jessica and her husband Michael Skeean, Jr. and granddaughter Madeline Elizabeth Skeean of Charlotte, NC. Viewing will be Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. There will be a Rosary recited at 10:00a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Nuestra Señora de los Remedios Catholic Church in Galisteo, NM followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Fr. Francis Malley officiating. Burial will be at the Nuestra Señora do los Remedios Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Galisteo Community Center.
