Deluvina S. Romero

DELUVINA S. ROMERO, 81, a life-long time resident of Manzano, New Mexico went to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 13, 2012 in Tajique. Deluvina was born June 5, 1931 in Manzano, NM to Pablo and Juanita Sandoval. She married her husband, Julian R. Romero on September 25, 1951. Deluvina was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Juanita Sandoval; her husband, Julian R. Romero; sisters Julia Lopez, Trinidad Morales, Maria Romero, and Aurora Lajuenesse; and brother Ambrocio Sandoval. She is survived by her sons, Pablo Romero and wife Adela of Manzano, NM, Micheal Romero and wife Eliza of Tajique, NM , Anthony Romero of Manzano, Julian Romero, Jr. and wife Gloria of Manzano; daughters, Chavela Barela and husband Ray of Tajique, Katherine Sanchez of Estancia, NM, Eva Ortiz and husband Philip of Tijeras, NM, Marie Barela and husband Gilbert of Albuquerque, NM, Angela Montoya and husband Eddie of Peralta, NM, Debbie Sisneros and husband Alex of Belen, NM; brothers Jose H. Sandoval and Bennie Sandoval, both of Albuquerque; sister Nina Onava of Albuquerque; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2012, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano, NM. with Father Fernando Sainz officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery.
