ROBERT “BOB” JOHN GANLEY, 71, of McIntosh, New Mexico peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Bob was born May 24, 1941 in Bronx, New York to John and Anne (Conway) Ganley. Bob married Sunlynne Kern on March 3, 1978 in San Jose, CA. They had three children, Robert, John and Tracy. Bob and Sunny had lived in McIntosh for the past four years, coming from Santa Fe. Bob was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Moriarty. He belonged to ABATE of NM and was a retired firefighter of the La Cienega Fire Department in Santa Fe where he worked for twelve years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne Ganley and brother, Richard Ganley. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Ganley of McIntosh, NM; sons, Robert Ganley of Albuquerque and John Ganley and his wife Amanda also of Albuquerque; daughter, Tracy Grycel and her husband Ted of Moriarty; sister, Louise Akle and her husband Fred of Selden, NY; three grandchildren, Annette Topham and her husband Mark, Blair Strand-Grycel and Mary Grycel; and nine great-grandchildren, Ruby Topham, Perry Topham, Molly Topham, Brody Topham, Gracie Topham, Lillie Topham, James Francisco, Joshua Francisco and Luke Topham who is on the way. Memorial Service is pending. There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, August 26th at 12:30 p.m. at New Beginning Church at the corner of Eunice and Irene in Moriarty, NM.
