Leonard Juan Sandoval

LEONARD JUAN SANDOVAL, 63, of Torreon, New Mexico peacefully passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Leonard was born October 2, 1948 in Albuquerque to Juan Antonio and Edwina M. (Martinez) Sandoval. He lived in Torreon for over 30 years, coming from Albuquerque. Leonard was an Army Veteran and retired carpenter. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Juan and Edwina Sandoval. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Sandoval, Alex Leonard Sandoval and Anthony (Tony) Sandoval; daughter, Denise Sandoval; brothers, Rey Sandoval and Percy and Ernest Sandoval; sisters, Candy Vigil and Rudy, Diane Sandles and Henry, and Carmen Griego and Mike; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon, NM with Rev. Fr. Saenz officiating. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Torreon.
