Lloyd Edward Vanderhoof

LLOYD EDWARD VANDERHOOF, 92, a longtime time resident of Moriarty, New Mexico peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday, May 10, 2012. Lloyd was born February 10, 1927 in Flatwoods, KY to Harold Clifford and Catherine (Trent) Vanderhoof. Lloyd was an Army Veteran. He was a life time member of the VFW. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Enomia (Sanchez) Vanderhoof; and one brother. He is survived by his sons, Lloyd Vanderhoof Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Nick Medina of Taos, NM, Tommy Medina of Raton, NM, Paul (Antoinette) Medina of Taos, NM, and Don Medina; daughters, Laura Hines of Albuquerque, NM and Annabell M. (Thomas) Silcox of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Gene and his wife Frances Vanderhoof and Bud Vanderhoof; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Pastor Dave Goodnight officiating. Lloyd will be laid to rest with military honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:30am
