Tom Joe Caliz

TOM JOE CALIZ, 86, of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away May 2, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tom was born January 25, 1926 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a Navy WWII Veteran. Tom had lived in Edgewood for the past 15 years having previously lived in Gallup. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lopez and his wife, Mary Caliz (Montoya). He is survived by his son, Christopher Castellanos; daughter, Eva Ariaga; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May, 9, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM.; Rev. Fr. Larry Merta officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood.
