Filbert R. Archuleta

FILBERT R. ARCHULETA, 77, a lifelong resident of Mountainair, New Mexico peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his home with his loving family surrounding him. Filbert was born December 9, 1934 in Mountainair, NM to Manuel and Altagracia (Romero) Archuleta. Filbert married Theresa Quintana on February 23, 1957 in El Paso, TX. Together they raised six sons and two daughters. Filbert was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa Q. Archuleta of Mountainair, NM; sons, Deno Archuleta and his wife Yvonne of Las Cruces, Alfonso Archuleta and his wife Lupe of Las Cruces, Filbert Archuleta Jr. and his wife Ruby of Los Lunas, Daniel Archuleta of Mountainair, Larry Archuleta and his wife Mona of Albuquerque, and Ruben Archuleta and his wife Cheryl of Mountainair; daughters, Diane Archuleta of Belen and Rosemary Archuleta of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren and 2 ½ great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00pm. at the First Assembly of God Church in Mountainair, NM. The Service will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church in Mountainair with Pastor Ed Rimer officiating. Pallbearers will be Filbert Archuleta III, Christopher Archuleta, Brenda Apodaca, Daniel Wayne Archuleta, Joshua Archuleta, Alysha Archuleta, Ashley Archuleta, Jason Archuleta, Theresa Saiz, Victoria Archuleta, Vanessa Archuleta, Ruben Archuleta Jr. and Domingo Archuleta. Burial will follow the service at the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair, NM.
