W. H. "Bill" Medders

W.H. “BILL” MEDDERS, 87, of Mountainair, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 17, 2012. Bill was born January 10, 1925 in Mountainair, NM to William and Maud Medders. He was a lifetime resident of Mountainair, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mountainair. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maud Medders; brothers, Johnny and Harold; and sisters, Pearl, Myrtle, and Ruth; and son, William David Medders. He is survived by his wife, Doris Medders of Mountainair, NM; son, Oscar Medders of Belen, NM; daughters, Gloria Giarrusso (Gary) of Mountainair, NM, and Mary Foster of Mountainair, NM; sisters, Lula Spencer of Mountainair, NM and Mary McCormack of Globe, AZ; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.. A Viewing will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Mountainair with Pastors Tony Reynolds and Milfred Mesiner officiating. Pallbearers will be Joseph Torres, Bill Luther, Richard Spencer, Curly “Carl” Hollon, Ed Tinney, Gary Giarrusso and Ray Zamora. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill's friends and neighbors in Mountainair. Burial will be at the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair, NM.
