Julian Garcia

JULIAN SANCHEZ GARCIA, 87, of Tajique, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 3, 2012. Julian was born February 14, 1925 in Tajique, NM to Frank and Emelia (Sanchez) Garcia. He lived in California for majority of his life. He was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique. Julian was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emelia Garcia; brothers, Eppimeno, Richardo, and Alex Garcia; and sister, Amy Anaya. He is survived by his sons, David Garcia and Cindy, Joseph Garcia and Joan, Robert Garcia, Johnny Garcia and Chris Garcia; step-daughter, Linda Vigil; brothers, Mariano Garcia and Jerry Garcia; sisters, Frances Herrera, Peggy Anaya, and Rita Sedillo; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique. The Funeral Mass will follow the Rosary at 11:00 at San Antonio Church with Rev. Fr. Robert Lancaster officiating. Pallbearers will be Mariano Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Jeff Barela Jr., Gerald Anaya, Nick Sedillo Jr. and Jordan Garcia Horn. Burial will be at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Tajique, NM.
