Bertie M. Shetter

BERTIE M. SHETTER, 80, of Stanley, New Mexico passed away at her home on Friday, March 30, 2012. Bertie was born January 22, 1932 in Kosse, Texas to Bert and Zelma (O’Neal) Mitchell. Bertie married A.B. Shetter on July 14, 1949 in Kosse, TX. They had lived in Stanley for the past thirteen years. Bertie was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Zelma Mitchell and brother, Dean Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, A.B. Shetter of Stanley, NM; son, Bryan Shetter and his wife Gale of Stanley, NM; daughters, Janis Clines and her husband George of Stanley, NM and Ann Neal and her husband Curt of Mickinney, TX; sisters, Sally Mitchell, Barbara Foster and Margie Shetter; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. There will be a Memorial Service at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 1:00PM with Pastor Ira Shelton officiating.
