Raymundo M. Gabaldon

RAYMUNDO M. GABALDON, 80, of Estancia, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Raymundo was born on September 20, 1931 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ramon and Maria (Murillo) Gabaldon. Raymundo was a Construction Supervisor for the City of Albuquerque. He was an Air Force veteran. Raymundo was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM and an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish. He was also a member of the AA and the American Legion. Raymundo was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Maria Gabaldon; aunt and uncle, Andrea and Francisco Valdez who raised him; former wife, Barbara Gabaldon; daughters, Cheryl Delgado and Deborah Salazar; and grandson, Pete Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Carol Gabaldon; sons, Frank Gabaldon of Rio Rancho, NM, Ray and Karen Gabaldon of Albuquerque, NM and John and Colleen Gabaldon of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Linda Gabaldon and Michael Ortiz of Estancia, NM and Anita Fernandez of Albuquerque, NM; brother Ralph Gabaldon; sister, Theresa Rodriguez; twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. There will be a Rosary at 10:00am on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. The Funeral Mass will follow the Rosary at 11:00am with Rev. Fr. Larry Merta officiating. Pallbearers will be John Paul Herrera, Max Herrera, Charlie Gabaldon, Steve Fernandez, Nathan Gabaldon and Christopher Gabaldon. Honorary Pallbearer will be Richard Sanchez. Burial of cremains will be at the Estancia Valley Catholic Cemetery in Estancia, NM
